Kevin Robinson is back to decrease the BMX heights once again at the KIA X Games Asia.

BMX legend Kevin Robinson hasn't been seen in competitive affray since the Summer X Games back in 2010.
However, the 40-year-old is still easily one of the headline acts for the BMX province at this month's KIA X Games Asia in Shanghai.
Robinson is not the type who likes to put too much constraints on himself, yet within the pro ranks he is known as one of the most committed riders there is.
"I'm going to the KIA X Games Asia to get my feet wet in this arena again. I had a great nagging shoulder injury that had me out for a while. But, never count me out to always have a new trick up my sleeve - when I'm in the two seconds and the time feels right, you never know what comes out of my bag of tricks," Robinson told ESPNSTAR.com .
Growing up in East Fortune, Robinson raced at the local BMX track until he chanced upon a TV ad showing cantrip riding. He was hooked there and then. The sport of BMX Freestyle has been greater because of it.
A four-time X Games gold medalist, Robinson holds the BMX stiff-air world record of 27 feet - and this 'push it to the limit' advance has also landed him a firm following amongst action sports fans in Asia who will assuredly be out in full force to cheer on the American later this month when he takes to the skies in China.
"The corroborate from the Asian community always blows me away," Robinson said.
"I undeniably get the feeling that they appreciate all the hard work and effort the athletes put into riding. For me himself, it always makes me want to put on a better show knowing how much it is appreciated.
"I obviously recognize all of the support, not only within the BMX community, but the X Games community as well. It's very flattering to have, but I always try to remain humble."
At last year's KIA X Games Asia, Australian Vince Byron held off forced competition to come up trumps in the BMX Vert Finals - it was a result which did not ineluctably come as a surprise to Robinson, who has a keen eye for spotting talent in his line.
