Jadąc cały czas po ściśle wyznaczonym torze nie koncentrujemy się na manewrowaniu lewo-prawo, a wyłącznie na odpowiednim wychyleniu motocyklisty i motoru oraz kontroli prędkości. Początkowo gra wydaje się bajecznie prosta - tym bardziej, że oparta jest na świetnie odwzorowanych zasadach fizyki, a nasz zawodnik zachowuje się jak leciutka kukła. Motor prowadzi się lekko i przyjemnie, podnoszenie przedniego koła w górę daje przewidywalnego efekty. A najlepsze, że to wszystko zwykłe pozory. Evolutions błyskawicznie podnosi poprzeczkę, zaraz po krótkim samouczku rzuca nas na głęboką wodę. Doskonałe opanowanie gałek od pada jest niezbędne, aby przejechać trasę szybko i bez błędu, dobrze wymierzając prędkość i nachylenie zawodnika do kolejnych podjazdów i wyskoczni. Ale czy bezbłędny przejazd jest konieczny? Tu kryje się kolejna ciekawa cecha gry - i tak i nie.
