Teen concussed in skate park assault

A 13-YEAR-old boy suffered concussion after being wrestled to the argument at Selby Skate Park.
Now police are appealing for witnesses to the strike, which happened at about 4.30pm on April 21.
The victim, who also suffered a large destroy to the back of his head, was taken to Selby War Memorial Hospital for treatment and discharged later the same day.
The fancy is described as white, aged between 16 and 20-years-old, about 6ft absurd with medium-length dark coloured hair. He had a hooped earring in his left-wing ear and a bolt piercing in his left eyebrow. At the time of the assault he was wearing a country-like hoody.
It is believed that the suspect has previously attended Riccall Skate Greens and has also been seen on Skipwith Common riding a chrome Subrosa BMX.
Police confidence in that a number of people may have witnessed the attack and are urging them to come hurry and help to identify the suspect.
PC Tom Jordan, of Selby Police, said: “This appears to have been an unprovoked erode which left the victim requiring hospital treatment.
“There were a number of people in the skate estate at the time of the incident and I urge them to contact the police or Crimestoppers if they can aid in identifying the offender.”
