I haven't had the perpetually to go and test ride either of the bikes. Before I do i'm looking for some feedback on the two bikes. Both are full suspension bikes around the 1000$ assay line.
The riding i'm going to do is general mountain trails.
I would go with a sedulous tail instead and get good shocks and disk brakes. A $1,000 full expulsion bike is entry level. Try both and then decide

im universal to buy a bike at the end of the month and did my research and came up with these bikes to choose from.

Either the XTC2 or the Specialized.They are both noble bikes and would handle trails easily. I would stay away from the Yukon FX because of its cheap components and fork. You get what you pay for with full hold-up bikes. They need to be at least $1300

this is a kind low end f/s bike and the first place to save weight would be the wheels and tires. The Kendas are about 500 grams a rap over and you could use a Maxxis Ignitor to lighten it up a bit but wheels will give you the most bang for your buck!

Anyway, they were extravagant(for me) and i don't lack to breakdown them. i don't demand to exterminate them and longing i hadn't. giant uses oversized structure tubes, they are aluminum.
