MARIJUANA? BRADWAY: A Bradway Road resident told police that an odor of marijuana was emanating from a neighbourhood home at about 11:35 a.m. May 10. Officers responded and surveyed for a burnt narcotic smell, but none was detected. It was determined that the odor was actually odor from skunk display.

WATER BALLOON, IMAGINE: A man told police he thought a organize of kids was going to throw water balloons at him on Imagine Lane at 6:15 p.m. May 9. As it turned out, it was all in his wit. Police responded and found that the kids were playing in their yard and were supervised by an adult.

TV Boosting, REAGAN PARK: A television and remote control car were stolen May 13 from the RC Deposit in Reagan Park. The park was host to an RC racing event over the weekend and fete tents were set up throughout the area. A thief apparently stole the 32-inch Dynex boob tube and RC car sometime before 12:38 p.m. No suspects were identified in the report.

JOY RIDE, WEYMOUTH: A Strongsville man took an associate’s Chevy for a joy ride May 12. At about 1:35 a.m., a Weymouth Passage resident told police that someone had taken a vehicle without authorization. A document was issued for the man who allegedly took the car for a joy ride, and he was later detained by police. He was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a vehicle.

BREAK-IN, LAFAYETTE: An employee at a Lafayette Road prog store found that someone had broken into the store sometime May 9 or 10. Signs of break-in were found at about 6 a.m. May 10. No items were reported missing from the pile up.

COPPER PIPE, JACKSON: Unknown thieves stole copper piping from a abandoned home in the 300 block of Jackson Street. The missing items were reported at about 5 p.m. May 9. No arrests have been made in the patient.

LAWN MOWER, EAST WASHINGTON: An East Washington Street woman told the heat that someone had stolen her lawn mower May 11, but she should have called her roommate first. It was later discovered that the lass’s roommate had taken the mower to her parents’ home. No charges were filed in the for fear of the fact.
