On Saturday, May 5, two bicycles totaling $11,000 were stolen from a resources on Parkes Run Lane in Villanova .
According to a police report, two racing bikes were found missing that morning from an unlocked car parked shell. An iPod was also stolen from that car and cash was taken from another unlocked car.
A Scott CRV2 road bike is valued at $6,500; a Pinnarello FP6 road bike is valued at $5,000.
On Monday, April 30 two residents of Radwyn Apartments on Bryn Mawr Avenue in Bryn Mawr, reported that their bicycles had been entranced.
According to a police incident report, one victim said that his Trek mountain bike valued at $200 was stolen between April 27 and 29. It had been kept unlockout front of his apartment.
A second victim stated that his $600 Trek mountain bike was last seen around 5 p.m. on April 27. His bike was kept unlocked in the back of his apartment.

A 22-year-old reported being assaulted while walking on Charles Byway in Bryn Mawr around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 29.
He told the gendarmes he had been walking home when two men stopped him and told him to give them his money. The victim said he throw up it all at the bar where he was and the two men knocked him to the ground.
The men were last seen running towards the Lower Merion boundary. One was described as wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and the other as someone who “sounded Italian.”
Thievery at Villanova
A Villanova University student reports that he left his iPhone in a reception room of Stanford Hall at 3 a.m. on May 3. When he awoke at 11 a.m. he noticed his was missing. The sap said he thinks the phone is somewhere in the Germantown area.
There have been numerous thefts winsome place at Villanova University recently. Radnor Patch has requested an vetting with the school’s head of public safety and is awaiting a reply.
