Family new to dirt track
31.12.69
Are you using house rim sizes on the crf??? or 17"??? if stock (16/19) you can almost always find an older 2.50/3.0 dirtrack tire or something close, or a newer enervate in an enduro/agressive on/offroad tire...16" tochis is pretty much whatever you can find that will work...I have a
scooter tire that resembles a period perelli on myplay bike (xr100)...if it is converted to 17" , Tdub on the enter here has some roadrace rain tires he grooves for the dirt, and you may be able to find some 17" maxxis. But , before you squander any money, I would reccomend going to a practice day at a track you are planning to competition at in your distrct and see what everybody is running....you will see a wide variety of what people are event. if no practice day, I would go to a race with the bikes stock, and let the kids get there feet wet , and still see what everyone else is competition, along with meeting a few other parents , in your area, you may find someone with just what you need because there child has moved up a bearing , or changed bikes , and most times you can buy these things at a fraction of the new prices....Wish this helps Shawn
